Dean Radin, PhD will be sharing his insights on
The Illusion of Separation

In many spiritual traditions, the notion of a universal interconnectedness (in Buddhism, “interdependent origination” or pratītyasamutpāda) emphasizes that the self and all phenomena arise in relationship, rather than existing as inherently separate.

This talk discusses empirical evidence from PSI (psychic) research that aligns with this perspective, suggesting that consciousness may extend beyond the individual to meaningfully interact with other minds and the physical world.

Drawing on controlled studies of telepathy, clairvoyance, and precognition, I will examine findings that challenge conventional assumptions about isolation and separateness.

These experimental results, in alignment with quantum concepts like entanglement, support an integrated view of mind and matter suggesting a profound interconnectedness that transcends the everyday constraints of space and time.

By comparing scientific inquiry with enduring spiritual insights, this dialogue encourages a worldview that surpasses dualism, fostering interdependence, empathy, and collective well-being.

In February on The Seeker’s Compass

Gayathri Narayanan is the founder of Myndtree and a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher who has been sharing the teachings and practices of mindfulness and meditation with groups and individuals since 2012. She has worked with elementary school children, teens, adults and seniors in various settings ranging from community meditation groups, to mindfulness in the classroom, workplace, senior living communities and parent groups. In her work with individuals, she customizes her knowledge of mindfulness, self-compassion, nonviolent communication, breathing and movement practices to best serve the needs of her clients. She serves as a compassionate sounding board and guide who is encouraging, positive and dedicated to bringing greater freedom, peace and well-being in the day-to-day lives of her clients.

Gayathri’s journey into this work began at the age of 11 when she met her spiritual teacher, Guru Nitya Chaitanya Yati. As his lifelong student, her spiritual roots lie in the wisdom teachings and practices of Advaita Vedanta and Yoga. Over the past 25 years, she has immersed herself in the study of various texts such as Narayana Guru’s Atmopadesha Satakam and Darsanamala, the Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Saundarya Lahari, and many of the Upanishads. Her spiritual interests later led her to Buddhism and mindfulness meditation. In 2010, after a 14-year career in healthcare information technology, she began exploring ways of sharing these precious teachings and practices with her community, and has since been leading weekly contemplative study groups where participants are offered an opportunity to delve deeper into these wisdom texts. Her passion to teach is driven by a longing to see more well-being, peace and harmony in the world.

She is a certified parent educator from Echo Parenting and Education and a certified mindfulness meditation teacher from the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program through UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center.  Gayathri also holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Southern California.
