These dedicated individuals have often spent a lifetime using their Spiritual Map and Compass to seek the Divine.
Their stories are fascinating, and their insights are amazingly profound.
This month’s program is part of that series.
Her talk is entitled: Kabbalah, Tarot and The Tree of Life
All three Abrahamic faiths are based on Torah— each a diverse interpretation of an ancient scroll, written in Hebrew consonants without vowels, inviting us to breathe life into its stories in our constant relationship and search for meaning as we ask and answer the perennial questions of the spiritual seeker — who we are and why we are here? This multilayered and poetic mythology is constantly brought to life by each contemporary generation drawn to its mystery.
22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet, 22 Paths on the Tree of Life, 22 cards in Tarot’s Major Arcana. Coincidence? Coincidence, they say, is Divinity’s way of remaining anonymous! The Syzygy Oracle invites our participation on the hero’s journey of discovery in Tarot’s Major Arcana and The Tree of Life. Tarot for kabbalists or kabbalah for tarot enthusiasts? The answer is YES. Join me on a beginner’s mystical journey in search of The Sacred Feminine.
South African born mystic, author and calligraphic artist Heather Mendel interweaves the ancient wisdom of Kabbalah with contemporary mindfulness in a unique dance of evolving consciousness. Acknowledging intuition as a valid equivalent of intellect, she is drawn to revealing the concealed Sacred Feminine realm of interconnection where myth and metaphor, symbol and sign reside beneath perceived reality. Believing the future is not prescribed, she has designed several oracle decks for individual spiritual practice, focusing on serendipitous ‘a-ha’ moments that arise when we are fully present. Thoughts and beliefs can limit our experience of what is possible. Nothing is as it appears .
To the curious she poses the question:
Are you ready to delve beneath the surface and superficial in a voyage of discovery?
