Dr. Lowenstein founded the Center for Human Holistics and has been a clinical assistant professor at Oregon Health Sciences University and the University of Arizona College of Medicine. His pioneering work in medical acupuncture and his leadership in integrative and holistic medicine are complemented by his profound commitment to spiritual growth and mental health.

An accomplished author, Dr. Lowenstein has published influential works, including his book, Kriya Yoga for Self-Discovery: Practices for Deep States of Meditation, which explores the transformative power of Kriya Yoga in achieving higher states of consciousness. This work has established him as a leading voice in the harmonization of Eastern meditative practices with Western scientific approaches.

Dr. Lowenstein also directs extensive coaching programs, teaches yogic meditation, and provides spiritual counseling through his platforms at www.HumanHolistics.com and www.KriyaBreath.com. His classes and workshops, such as “Kriya Yoga: Fast Tracking to the Infinite” and “Meditative Practices for Attunement and Self-Care in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy,” highlight his expertise in utilizing meditative techniques to enhance overall well-being and spiritual attunement.

As All Faiths Seminary International introduces “The Seeker’s Compass” program, Dr. Lowenstein and Dr. Bud James together engage students and the public in exploring mysticism through modern perspectives. This innovative program will feature interviews with modern mystics and offer insights into their spiritual journeys, providing invaluable resources for those drawn to mystical studies.

This unprecedented program promises to enrich the spiritual and academic landscape by weaving together traditional and contemporary mystical studies, preparing students to lead with wisdom and compassion in a diverse world.

Under Dr. Lowenstein’s guidance, students at the seminary can pursue degrees in Interfaith Minister, Masters of Divinity, or Doctorate of Divinity with an emphasis on Mysticism.
