“The whole world is illness, What is the medicine?”
Sacred Psychology, The Foundations of Spiritual Counseling is an introduction to the principles and practices of Spiritual Counseling. Combining psychological and spiritual understanding, we look at the role of a Spiritual Counselor, how it differs from that of a therapist. As we explore the essence of a healing relationship, we also look deeply at the true causes of suffering. What is it that needs to be healed? How does healing happen?
Information, tools and skills are provided, along with exercises so that the student can integrate the material into their everyday lives. Some topics include, Who is the Healer? What Needs To Be Healed? Natural Healing Activities, including The Power of Meditation, Forgiveness and Prayer, Relationships As Spiritual Practice and True Conversation. The course focuses upon what is required to help another open to the wisdom, love and strength within.
