Jewish Science was promoted in the early 20th century in America as a Jewish answer to the New Thought movement, and in particular Christian Science, by the rabbis Alfred Geiger Moses, Clifton Harby Levy, and Morris and Tehilla Lichtenstein.
Jewish Science emphasizes spiritual and physical healing through visualized prayer and meditation.
In this course, we will talk about the origins of Jewish New Thought, Jewish Science beliefs, spirituality, and to the degree in which they may agree or differ from conventional Jewish practice.
The cost of the above mentioned program is $375
+ a $25 reg. fee.

Rabbi Frank Tamburello, formally an Eastern Rite Orthodox priest, converted to Judaism, and was ordained by Rabbi Joseph Gelberman as a Rabbi in 2004. He holds a masters degree in Eastern Christian Studies from the John XIII Center at Fordham University, as well as certificates in Judaic Studies.
Rabbi Frank presently serves the Society of Jewish Science in Manhattan as well as the Westchester Community for Humanistic Judaism in White Plains.
